I bought this ice cream maker and keep the freezer bowl in the freezer all the time so it is completely frozen....it never, ever seems to freeze the ice cream. I've followed the instructions, and even left it in the freezer bowl for up to an hour! When I put it in the freezer, it is always just liquid.

We registered for this item and received it as a wedding gift. I've tried this a few times and followed the instructions. The bowl has set in the freezer for 24 hours and the ice cream still never froze enough to be real ice cream. It was barely as thick as a smoothie. Don't waste your money!

We registered for this item and received it as a wedding gift. I followed the instructions exactly and the ice cream still never froze enough to be real ice cream. After a few tries the motor stopped working - wouldn't turn. [...]. It ended up in the trash. What a rip off!

I used this the first time about 6 months after my wedding... I put the bowl in the freezer for 2 days, then mixed as directed for vanilla ice cream. After 25 minutes, it resembled a melting vanilla shake. I had to put it in the freezer for a half hour anyway, and there were still ice crystals.

I bought this because I had just been drolling over a Cuisinart that looked excactly like this. I had a Deni that was still worked and looked great. But this one was stainless... The first batch didn't freeze..I assumed it was because my bowl was only in the freezer for 8 hours....and the second and the third started to look like it might one day be Soft Serve..then it melted. I don't remember having these problems with the Deni. ( I have the Deni bowl in the freezer now hopefully it works as well as I remember it)
